Setting up your email in Mozilla Thunderbird

Open Mozilla Thunderbird.

Click Tools from the top menu. (1.1)

Select Account Settings.

Click the top item within the Account Settings: (2.1)
username@yourDomain.com

Enter the following information:



Account Name:
userName@yourDomain.com

Your Name:
The name you wish to appear to your recipients

Email Address:
userName@yourDomain.com

Reply-To-Address:
The reply address you wish to appear to your recipients

Organization (optional):
The organization name you wish to appear to your recipients

Outgoing Server(SMTP):
Select yourDomain.com from the dropdown menu

In the Server Settings Tab, enter the following settings: (3.1)



Server Name:
yourDomain.com

Port:
110

User Name:
username@yourDomain.com

Use Secure connection:
never

Put a check box next to "Use secure authentication".

Click the Outgoing Server (SMTP) tab. (3.2)

Click the "Edit..." button to the right and enter the following settings: (4.1)



Description:
yourDomain.com or a unique label (i.e. My portal's SMTP)

Server Name:
yourDomain.com

Port:
25

Put a check box next to "Use name and password"

User Name:
username@yourDomain.com

User Secure connection:
No


Click OK.

Click OK again.

Check your email!
