Setting up your e-mail in Microsoft Entourage 2008 Open Microsoft Entourage.
Click Tools from the application menu. (1.1)
Click Accounts.

Select "Tools" from the menu bar, then "Accounts".

Click the Mail tab. (2.1)
Double-click the account you wish to edit.
|
Click the "Mail" Tab, double-click the account you wish to modify.
|
Enter the following information: (3.1)
Account Name:
yourDomain.com or a unique label
(i.e. My Portal's email)
Name:
The name you wish to appear to your recipients
Email Address:
userName@yourDomain.com
Account ID:
userName@yourDomain.com
POP Server:
yourDomain.com
Password:
Your Email Password
SMTP Server:
yourDomain.com

Enter the following in the Account Settings Tab, then click "Click here for advanced sending options".

Click the "Click here for Advanced Sending Options" button and enter the following information: (4.1)
Put a check in the box next to SMTP server requires authentication.
Select Use same settings as receiving mail server.
Return to the "Edit Account" window
Click OK.
Check your email!

Enter the following settings and then return to the "Edit Account" window. Click "OK" and check your email!
