I have a background in art having majored in fine art at the University of Tennessee but have in the last couple of years discovered a love for photography. I am a trained portrait photographer and it is through this I became interested in exploring the natural world with my camera.

Recognized for his use of thick textures and multiple oil glazes, Jeff Beier approaches varying subjects for his work. Jeff’s defining style fuses sculpture within paint upon the canvas and averages upwards of 70 layers in each single piece. His paintings can be found in public galleries, restaurants, corporate and private collections around the world. Jeff’s work has been featured in a variety of film, television and print media.

The sculptures that I create consist of elaborate and seductive objects which exaggerate traditional appeal, creating an obnoxious and elegant style. It is inspired by my own competitive ego and an eccentric self image which drives to impress.

Today he works as a filmmaker and artist. Both of which have served him well and led him to exactly where he is now.

My work seems to reflect on something that is not really taken note of in modern society or talked about much, but taken with a twist. It is the idea that human flaw might lead to further evolution ('if that is was has happened in the past') resulting in a "new breed of human" and it might not be what we would like. This idea is still boiling in my head and still has loose edges, but question, what is to "Carry Us FARther"?

Illustrator & animator Sivan Ben-Yosef was born in 1973, in Petah Tiqwa, Israel. As a daughter of two acclaimed Israeli artists, she has been involved and immersed in the arts from very early childhood. Ms. Ben Yosef started her artistic endeavors attending "Thelma Yellin School of the Arts", in Givataim, Israel, where as part of the Visual Arts department, she studied painting, drawing and sculpture.

Whiteley works on both found objects and conventional grounds. He uses drawing and painting techniques to complete his works. His line and paint application is very expressive and almost childlike. Vibrant colors and engaging characters are hallmarks of his work.

I am a versatile Designer and Artist and am always learning some new skill. I grew up in Chicago, Illinois and attended the American Academy of Art. In 1992 I moved to Southern California and attended the Art Center of Design in Pasadena. I moved to my current home in Charlotte North Carolina in October of 1998. Member Colored Pencil Society of America.

My dreams of becoming a famous glassblower diminished, but my love for the drawing the human figure or capturing the details of someone's personality in a portrait, has never left. Although I might be caught up in my life as a 9 to 5 corporate monkey, I'll always have my first love to help me escape.

I am now offering mosaic art classes at Julia Peters Studio. This is very exciting for me. Not only do I get to teach an art that I truly love, but I will also be located in the West End of Greenville, SC. Fun and artsy things all around! A new baseball stadium, restaurants and many art gallery's, just to name a few. We are located right behind the Army Store. Now that is a fun place to shop!

CHARLENE LANZEL was born on January 29th, 1967 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. She is the daughter of two artists and one of six children. Charlene began painting by age 5 and was published in an instruction book for elementary school art teachers by age 9. In 1985 she received the Senior Art Award and Art Scholarship from her high school in Onalaska, Wisconsin which she gave up to explore life on her own. After a short move to Minneapolis in 1985, the self-taught artist relocated to New York City in 1987 at the age of 20.

Lynne Davies is a self taught professional commission artist. With a diverse range of styles and media, any work can be considered. Lynne has over 20 years experience of producing fine art, having started drawing portraits whilst still studying at school. She has a history of having succeeded at various academic and professional competitions during this time, in addition to extensive exhibited work.

Much of my work is exhibited in Clemson or has been sold to private collectors in South Carolina and Florida. The Restaurant 356 downtown Clemson has a permanent collection of my paintings on display. I have also shown my work for: Red Bull Music Labs in Greenville, SC in 2005; A Wine Festival at Sole in Clemson, 2005; Pendleton Coffee Shop in the Historic Pendleton Square, SC 2006; Artwalk Julington Creek 2007, Stellers Gallery in Jacksonville, 2006-2008; and the Jacksonville Artwalk 2008.

Kelie Myers (Brown) a native Oklahoman paints primary in oil but also works in mixed media and printmaking processes. She is currently working on a series of emotional and atmospheric landscapes in oil as well as two series of creatively free, mixed media abstract works. She began painting nearly a decade ago after landing in her first art class by accident.

I love art. I grew up drawing and painting. Watching Bob Ross make his happy little trees. I also grew up watching cartoons and cheesy horror movies, and my artwork now is a result of that. Sometimes musically influenced, sometimes image influenced, my artwork stems from a single moment. No long explanations or deep meanings here.

Todd T. Brown is a visual artist, musician, and community arts organizer. He has been painting for over 19 years. Over the past four years Todd has dedicated himself to developing an interdisciplinary, intercultural, creative center for the visual and performing arts known as the Red Poppy Art House, located in the mission district of San Francisco.

lphonse Izzo's music has been premiered in the USA, Canada, Europe and Argentina. His music is represented by Honey Rock Publishing and Canondale Publishing. His work appears on CD via Trace Label and Vox Novus labels.

Welcome to my little corner of the web. I am an artist based in Greenville, SC. I was born and raised in Madisonville, KY-- a small town in the western part of the state. I earned my degree in art education from Western Kentucky University in 2003. My coursework was probably 75% art classes and 25% education classes. I got a fabulous education there from many gifted artists and teachers (Thanks guys!).

Samaritan Carvers is a collaborative studio headed by Tracy Mahaffey and Adam Heller. We are committed to keeping the amazing craft of stone carving alive and accessible. Through collaboration our ideas are challenged, refined, and often expanded into wonderful new territories. We have found such joy and creative success in this endeavor and we would like to keep this sharing alive.

I started drawing and painting at a very young age. I also started doing assemblages, although at the time I did not know it was called assemblage. I have a love of color, lines and shapes. To me nature is the ultimate reference for an artist. No man or woman can reproduce nature’s magnificent colors, lines and shapes to its true brilliance. Man will always fall short. My goal is not to conquer nature but to co-exist its presents and enjoy its beauty.
